A jewellery box in beige and brown calf, lined in Alcantara so that nothing inside is scratched by what holds it. Separate compartments keep rings, earrings, bracelets and watches apart; nothing tangles. The clasp is solid metal finished in gold.

Made by hand in Italy. A proper home for a collection, or the start of one.
Details

The exterior is calf leather, cut and blocked in two tones. The interior is lined in Alcantara, a dense microfiber soft enough that it will not scratch settings or polished metal the way a harder lining can. The compartments are fixed and separate, so rings, earrings, bracelets and watches are held apart rather than tangling in a single tray. The clasp is solid metal finished in gold. Our calf leather is responsibly sourced from local Italian farms, repurposing byproducts of the meat industry.

Made to order and personalisation

Pieces in stock leave within days. Made to order, leather goods and boxes take 4–6 weeks; furniture 1–2 months.

Initials or a monogram can be hot-stamped in gold, silver or blind. A different leather, colour or lining can be made to order; nothing is cut until you have approved it. How a commission works.
Repairs

Whatever we make, we repair. Send a photograph and we quote before any work begins.
Care

A dry cloth, a dust bag and a stable room are most of it. The rest is in Leather Care.
Packaging and gifts

Every piece leaves in a box made in Italy. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand; a gift receipt on request.

Handmade in Milan

Every Oberndörfer Milano piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand in ateliers around Milan, in full-grain leather from Italian, French and German tanneries.
