A briefcase made with the New York jeweller Trax NYC, built to carry pieces of value discreetly and to present them well when it is opened. Full-grain calf outside; red Alcantara inside, the lining a jeweller asks for because it will not scratch metal or stone. The hardware is solid brass galvanised in gold, and the form is structured, so it stands and keeps its shape however it is packed.
Made by hand in our ateliers around Milan. One example exists; once it is sold it will not be made again.
Details
The case is built over a structured core, wrapped in full-grain calf leather and lined in red Alcantara, a dense microfiber that stays smooth against what it holds. The hardware is solid brass under the gold, so the closure carries its own weight rather than being plated over a lighter metal. Each corner is wrapped and stitched by hand in our ateliers around Milan, to a design developed with the New York jeweler Trax NYC. Our calf leather is responsibly sourced from local Italian farms, repurposing byproducts of the meat industry.

Made to order and personalisation
Pieces in stock leave within days. Made to order, leather goods and boxes take 4–6 weeks; furniture 1–2 months.
Initials or a monogram can be hot-stamped in gold, silver or blind. A different leather, colour or lining can be made to order; nothing is cut until you have approved it. How a commission works.
Repairs
Whatever we make, we repair. Send a photograph and we quote before any work begins.
Care
A dry cloth, a dust bag and a stable room are most of it. The rest is in Leather Care.
Packaging and gifts
Every piece leaves in a box made in Italy. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand; a gift receipt on request.
