A cotton T-shirt in black, with OBERNDÖRFER MILANO embroidered at the chest in black thread - the same colour as the cloth, so the mark reads as texture rather than as a logo, and only resolves when you are close to it.
A regular cut with a ribbed collar. The woven Oberndörfer label is sewn inside the collar. The back is left plain.
The quietest way the house signs a piece: the name is there, but you have to be near enough to read it.
100% cotton. Made in Italy.
Details
The body is 100% cotton jersey. The wordmark is embroidered in thread the same colour as the cloth, which is the harder way to do it: with no contrast to hide behind, the stitch density has to be right or the mark reads as a smudge rather than as type. Because it is stitched rather than printed, it will not crack or lift with washing the way a surface print eventually does. The collar is ribbed and set to hold its shape, and the Oberndörfer label inside the neck is woven, not printed. Made in Italy.

Made to order and personalisation
Pieces in stock leave within days. Made to order, leather goods and boxes take 4–6 weeks; furniture 1–2 months.
Initials or a monogram can be hot-stamped in gold, silver or blind. A different leather, colour or lining can be made to order; nothing is cut until you have approved it. How a commission works.
Repairs
Whatever we make, we repair. Send a photograph and we quote before any work begins.
Care
A dry cloth, a dust bag and a stable room are most of it. The rest is in Leather Care.
Packaging and gifts
Every piece leaves in a box made in Italy. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand; a gift receipt on request.

Cut, stitched and finished around Milan
Every piece is made in small workshops we chose after visiting them, from hides we can trace to the tannery. The method is the one used for a trunk; only the scale changes. Whatever we make, we repair.
