SAC is a compact backpack in blue grained Togo calf, cut to the size of a day's carry and nothing more. Inside it is fully lined in smooth goat leather: a lining that lasts as long as the exterior, where most bags fail first, and a quiet contrast to the grain outside. The closure is a palladium-finished brass fitting.

The straps are made to work two ways, so the same bag is worn on the back or carried across the body. Made by hand in Italy in small batches.

Details

The bag is cut from grained Togo calf leather, a grain pressed into the hide rather than printed onto it, so the texture runs through the surface instead of sitting on top of it. Inside it is fully lined in smooth goat leather rather than a textile, which is the costlier way to finish an interior and gives the inside of the bag the same surface as the outside. The closure is solid brass finished in palladium. Made by hand in our ateliers around Milan. Our calf leather is responsibly sourced from local Italian farms, repurposing byproducts of the meat industry.

Delivery and returns

DHL Standard is free on every order. DHL Express is free from €300; below that it is €5 for small pieces and €20 for larger ones within the EU, €50 and €65 elsewhere. Pieces in stock are delivered in 7–14 days.

Made to order and personalisation

Pieces in stock leave within days. Made to order, leather goods and boxes take 4–6 weeks; furniture 1–2 months.

Initials or a monogram can be hot-stamped in gold, silver or blind. A different leather, colour or lining can be made to order; nothing is cut until you have approved it. How a commission works.
Repairs

Whatever we make, we repair. Send a photograph and we quote before any work begins.
Care

A dry cloth, a dust bag and a stable room are most of it. The rest is in Leather Care.
Packaging and gifts

Every piece leaves in a box made in Italy. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand; a gift receipt on request.
