A box for necklaces, built around a rigid core and wrapped in Italian calf leather, with gold-tone studs set through the panels.
The studs hold the structure at the points that take the most handling as much as they mark the exterior. The interior is lined in red velvet, a soft pile chosen so that chains and settings rest against nap rather than a hard surface. The closures are solid brass galvanized in gold.

Made by hand in our ateliers around Milan. Our calf leather is responsibly sourced from local Italian farms, repurposing byproducts of the meat industry.

Made to order and personalisation
Pieces in stock leave within days. Made to order, leather goods and boxes take 4–6 weeks; furniture 1–2 months.
Initials or a monogram can be hot-stamped in gold, silver or blind. A different leather, colour or lining can be made to order; nothing is cut until you have approved it. How a commission works.
Repairs
Whatever we make, we repair. Send a photograph and we quote before any work begins.
Care
A dry cloth, a dust bag and a stable room are most of it. The rest is in Leather Care.
Packaging and gifts
Every piece leaves in a box made in Italy. Add a message at checkout and we write it by hand; a gift receipt on request.

Handmade in Milan
Every Oberndörfer Milano piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand in ateliers around Milan, in full-grain leather from Italian, French and German tanneries.
