017は、ピンクのトゴ・カーフで仕立てた大ぶりのトートバッグ。毎日持つバッグに私たちが選ぶ、きめ細かなシボのレザーです。傷がつきにくく、使うほどに擦り切れるのではなく深みを増していきます。ハンドルは後付けではなく、本体から立ち上がる2枚の曲線パネルで形づくられ、両サイドは底に向かって細くなるため、彫刻的なラインで自立します。
内側は仕切りのないひとつの広い空間で、一日に必要なものがすべて収まります。イタリアで少量ずつ手作りしています。
